Recordando Aventuras - Expert Tips

Remembering Adventures - Expert Tips

Dreams can decode the feelings you have buried inside. It can also be a gateway to communicate to Highest Selves, our Guides, & our Guardians. The language of the adventures speaks on feelings, symbols, and energy. Repressed emotions can trigger different types of dreams, but how do we know this emotions if we can't remember them? Remembering dreams can help you understand your surroundings and change the way we look at ourselves. It is a difficult task to do, and only 3-10% of people regularly remember their dreams.

If you are one of the 90% who are clueless of their inner conflicts, prepare to make minimal but effective changes in your sleep pattern. Perfect practice makes perfect. Are you ready?

1.Just before you go to sleep, physically say out loud the desire to remember a dream. According to experts, it is more helpful to voice your needs out loud than mentally, because there is "something about engaging the vocal cords that helps to energetically program your nervous system."

2.Create a dream journal. There have been times where I've woken up in the middle of the night with a dream fresh in my mind. It is very annoying to wake up and write it down, but this takes some willpower. Keep a journal near your bed, or you can do like me and walk to the computer and record them.

3.Date your dream journal before going to sleep. This will create a subconscious expectation to remember dreams.

4.Set your alarm clock for different times of the night. This can be a problem for people that are worried to awaken their family or partner. So, for these people, drink lots and lots of water! 3 or more glasses before you go to sleep, and your nature alarm clock will be set. ;)

5.Establish regular sleep routines. This means to start sleeping in the SAME position every night, as well as going to be and waking at the same time. Also, DO NOT eat heavy meals before going to sleep, this will interfere with your sleep cycle and the ability to remember dreams.

6.When writing. Include all sensory expressions that come to mind, such as color, taste, image, emotion, feeling, settings, and people's expressions.

7.Right after waking, pay attention to feelings or sensations your body has. Usually, you wont immediately remember a dream. In this case, stay with a feeling and most of the times this feelings might take you to the original story. If you have changed positions since you woke up, go back to the one you woke up in and this will trigger a feeling or images that will help you remember the adventure.

8.Make sure you write as much as you can! Most of the times we are lazy after waking up, and for good reason, but by writing more and more your brain will remember more and more. This is why we keep a journal, and this is why we need willpower.

9.Audio Technology. Even thought I have never used this (I will starting today!). According to experts this is an excellent way to trigger your mind, and to help the remembrance of an astral dream.

Side Notes: You can use a little night lamp for a better access to your dream journal. Also, think about a concern you might have right before you go to sleep. Your mind is powerful, take advantage of it.

Epic Dreams.. Have you had one?

Epic dreams (also referred to as Great Dreams, Cosmic Dreams or Numinous Dreams) are so huge, so compelling, and so vivid that you cannot ignore them. The details of such dreams remain with you for years, as if you just dreamt it last night. These dreams possess much beauty and contain many archetypal symbology. When you wake up from such a dream, you feel that you have discovered something profound or amazing about yourself or about the world. [www.dreammoods.com]

Three weeks ago I had an Epic Dream. It was very short, but it impacted me in a way I will never forget. I remember being in a Baseball Stadium with no one that I knew. Suddenly, I look up at the sky and a ball of fire [METEOR] is coming down at a slow rate. I didn't panic, I did not get scared. Instead, I grabbed the hands of the people next to me and encourage them to start praying. Once the ball of fire [METEOR] arrived at earth and the explosion of fire was taking everything in its path and coming our way, I knew I was gonna die. It was quick and not painful. The warmth that overcame my body was replaced by the light feeling of my soul/body ascending somewhere [heaven?].

I woke up.

Side Notes: Not so long ago I read an article on regressions [Past life regression is a technique that uses hypnosis to recover what most practitioners believe are memories of past lives or incarnations. Past life regression is typically undertaken either in pursuit of a spiritual experience, or in a psychotherapeutic setting. Most advocates loosely adhere to beliefs about reincarnation,[1] though religious traditions that incorporate reincarnation generally do not include the idea of repressed memories of past lives.[2]] and the possibility that this could be product of our unconsciousness replaying a MOVIE or BOOK that had impacted our life. Was this Epic Dream just a re-play of the thousands of mini movies in YouTube I've seen about the end of the world? Regardless of the possibilities, I felt that after this dream, I am not scared of death anymore... Even if there is nothing after it.
